Glass blowing is an ancient and fascinating practice that involves shaping the glass using heat and as the name suggests - blowing the glass. Alexandra Kidd Atelier unites the visionary prowess of award-winning interior designer Alexandra Kidd with the masterful craftsmanship of world-renowned Australian glass artists, Ben Edols and Kathy Elliott. A pair of much-admired artists who have left an indelible mark on the global art world, their sought-after creations are showcased in The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, The Museum of Art and Design in New York, The Corning Museum of Glass in New York, The Toyama Art Museum in Japan, and The National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.
The Prima Collection
The Prima Collection comprises four limited-edition table lamps, and a collection of complementary vases.
Made entirely in Australia, each item is handcrafted by skilled glass artisans using traditional glassblowing techniques, creating unique pieces with their own personality, idiosyncrasies and individual expression.

All metalwork is exclusively custom-designed and engineered for Alexandra Kidd Atelier, again adding a touch of bespoke sophistication to each piece.
